Axiom Manufacturing Services has been honoured as one of the UK’s top manufacturers at the prestigious Elektra European Electronics Industry Awards.
Competing against leading electronics manufacturers across Europe, including global multinationals, Axiom earned a Highly Commended distinction from Elektra’s panel of judges. This recognition celebrates the company’s significant investments, robust sales growth, and partner acquisition.
Organised by Electronics Weekly magazine, the Elektra Awards highlight achievements in the design, development, manufacturing, and distribution of electronics products within the EU and beyond.

Commenting on the success, Managing Director Chris Nye, said: “Elektra’s recognition, and the achievements over the past year that led it, are a credit to our entire team. Together, we will continue to build on that legacy of success to secure our projected record-breaking double-digit growth and set new standards for our industry.
“Our continued investments into our team and facility are set to ensure that Axiom remains at the forefront of driving new innovations and exceeding standards for quality and reliability. This is the advantage our customers have learned to expect from Axiom, and we are proud to see that Elektra’s judges recognise our ability to make possible.”
In the 2023-24 fiscal year, Axiom maintained a turnover of around £55 million for the third consecutive year. This achievement comes despite challenging conditions, including rising costs, political uncertainties, and ongoing global supply chain disruptions impacting the manufacturing sector.
Over the past year, Axiom has invested more than £1.5 million in advanced technology, with around 35% dedicated to bolstering our growing defence sector, including surface mount technology to expand our printed circuit board assembly capabilities.
With a record-breaking order book for the coming year, Axiom is poised for continued growth. To support this momentum, we have launched a major recruitment campaign, with a range of specialist roles available including:
Account Manager
A.O.I Technical Officer
IT Support Technician
Mechanical Engineer
Process Engineer
Project Buyer
Quality Engineer
Senior Manufacturing Software Engineer
Setter
Systems Manufacturing Software Programmer
