A gala event to celebrate Wales' most innovative, sustainable, and forward-thinking manufacturers, has seen Axiom walk away with the trophy in two of the Made in Wales Awards’ most sought-after categories.
In the face of strong competition from multinational manufacturers and the country’s leading companies operating across a range of industry sectors, Axiom’s commitment to providing young talent with access to valuable and rewarding careers in technology manufacturing secured us the prestigious Manufacturing Apprenticeship/Training Scheme Award.
Praised by judges for the continuing success of our industry leading apprenticeship programme, Axioms in-depth training plan develops technical abilities, professional qualities and understanding throughout all business departments, providing hands-on experience at our state-of-the-art facility.
The night also saw Axiom’s Lois Penny take home the Apprentice of the Year Award, after impressing judges with the level of energy, enthusiasm, and hunger to learn that she had confidently demonstrated in the role.
Special praise should also be given to Lois’ fellow apprentice, Amber Heard, who was also shortlisted by judges who had received hundreds of award entries from the length and breadth of Wales.
